The power button is on top right. Home key and volume buttons on right side. The charger and other ports on bottom which sometimes make it difficult to play games while charging simultaneously. The usb port can be used to mount a usb, keyboard, mouse and etc, using an OTG cable, else it is used to connect the tablet to PC.
Spark is impressing fast and i have played high end games like real racing 3, need for speed most wanted and GTA vicecity. These games run smooth without any jerk, thanks to the all winner a31 quad core processor with 2gb of ram.
The camera on this one is also a benchmark for Ainol, with picture effects like negative sepia etc built in, and other good features like autofocus face detection and panorama mode this is up to the technological standards of today. Camera quality is average and kinda like all other 5mp tablet cameras. The front camera is 2 MP and really does its job well with video calling.
Watching movies is the heart quality of Ainol spark, the 1080p video runs really smooth on preloaded 4k video player. The retina display shows itself at its height. Picture is crisp and clear. This one really justifies the use of the money spent.The youtube and daily motion videos also run smooth and without any hardware jerks. Watching online movies on it is a pleasure for me. There is a app called video mix pro (app can only be found on aptoide store) through which any movie can be streamed. The streaming is excellent without any buffering. The hdmi output quality is excellent on this tablet which is at 1080p full hd.
The speakers are located at the bottom on both sides and give a nice sound output could have been better but still does their job.
The 10000 battery on this one is pretty good. A 3A charger charges it up really fast where as a USB charger doesnt charges it at all (probably a bug?). The battery drain is quite acceptable, on standby mode with wifi off it almost never drains but with wifi on and working it drains out quite rapidly so I'm not sure about 8 hours claim that Ainol makes, still acceptable. The 3A charger is separate. The Ainol Spark pack included a tablet some guides, warranty, ear plugs and a USB cable.
I have updated the tablet with stock rom LX-20130422v1 through phoenix suit tool on pc. I still think this rom is better and stable in performance from the old one before. More to mention that the device doesn't offers bluetooth connectivity, but u dont need to worry. By installing cynogen mod 10, bluetooh can be used by connecting a bluetooth adapter with the help of an OTG cable.
The launcher on the tablet is not stable it stucks and says launcher is not responding. In order to fix it nova launcher can be used as default, as it is the best and most reponsive launcher to be used on the tablet.
Despite this is the best tablet with excellent specs, performance and affordable price tag, else its a great tablet to be bought instead of paying 3x more and buying an iPad with lower specs. hope you liked my review and please feel free to feedback, comment and ask questions.
